Arts West extends a warm welcome to local independent artist and small organisations to become Arts West Advocates.
Arts West Advocates contribute to the Alliance’s core mission of arts advocacy, and assist in platforming the concerns and issues affecting arts in the western suburbs of Melbourne across local, state and federal government.
We aim to engage the Advocates when opportunities arise to advocate together for arts in Melbourne’s West.

ARTS ADVOCATES RECEIVE A RANGE OF BENEFITS INCLUDING:
Receiving updates and online resources regarding arts advocacy opportunities.
Invitation to apply for two positions on the Alliance Committee – the committee that actively delivers the Arts West advocacy agenda. These positions are appointed annually, with the option to renew for a second year.
ELIGIBILITY
Arts West Advocates must live or work in Melbourne’s West. Melbourne’s West includes the Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton, Moonee Valley and Wyndham municipalities.
