What I like to think of as a unique ‘evolution’ in arts management and marketing was recently launched with the announcement of Arts West — an alliance of nine community arts organisations in Melbourne’s west that are pooling resources, staffing and expertise to create what is hoped will be a model for the rest of the country.

Pertengahan Juli 2014 BUSET diundang ke Footscray Community Arts Centre untuk menghadiri acara launching Arts West, yaitu penggabungan dari sembilan organisasi kesenian di bagian barat Melbourne metropolitan area, dalam hal marketing, profesionalisme dan keaneka-ragaman penganutnya. Established in January 2014 and funded by Arts Victoria, Arts West is a two year, $100,000 pilot program designed to support a collaborative approach to marketing, audience development and capacity building among nine arts organisations based in Melbourne’s western suburbs: Big West Festival, Footscray Community Arts Centre,Barkly Arts Centre, the Women's Circus, The Substation, Western Edge Youth Arts, Snuff Puppets, Ausdance, and 100 Story Building.
